About the role As the Group Strategy Manager, you will lead the charge in creating integrated solutions for brands that position Mamamia and its sub-brands uniquely in the market. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of content and commercial, collaborating with diverse specialists and stakeholders daily. You will also oversee the workload and development of your direct reports, ensuring high-quality output and fostering a culture of collaboration and support within the team. Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us: Lead the development of responses to briefs, setting a strategic direction that inspires and unlocks creative concepts. Collaborate with branded content specialists to nurture ideas that align with brand strategy and push boundaries. Work with Sales Managers to identify and nurture new business prospects, contributing to market presence and growth. Act as quality control for your team, ensuring high standards in product quality and supporting their learning and development. Position Mamamia as a leader in connecting with women, utilizing insights to enhance commercial communications. Oversee campaign execution to ensure alignment with core creative strategies and client objectives. Grow and maintain relationships with clients, contributing to post-campaign reviews and future recommendations. Foster a culture of collaboration and quality across the strategy team while leading projects in support of broader business initiatives. Now, a bit about you 8 years in a strategic role within a media agency, publisher, or platform. Ideally, 2 years of experience in a publishing environment, though diverse skills are welcomed. Strong leadership skills with 3 years of experience managing others. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail. Sound analytical, innovative, and strategic thinking abilities. Existing relationships with digital/creative/media agencies are highly regarded.
