About the Opportunity Are you an experienced finance professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for process? We’re seeking a dedicated professional to take full ownership of our accounts payable function in a standalone role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on autonomy and enjoys being the go-to person for all things AP. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across all transactions. You’ll also provide support across other finance functions, but your primary focus will be on maintaining a smooth and efficient AP operation. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the accounts’ payable function, including invoice processing, purchase order compliance, and batch payments via online banking Maintain accurate ledger balances and ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts and company credit cards Review and assist with staff expense claims Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment queries Support audits, FBT preparation, and other finance-related matters Provide general administrative support to the Finance team Assist with accounts receivable and reporting tasks as needed Collaborate with the Financial Controller on payment runs and broader finance operations Perform other finance duties as required About You Extensive experience in accounts payable, ideally in a standalone capacity Strong understanding of financial systems and processes Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is highly desirable Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and communication skills A proactive, adaptable team player who enjoys working independently This role is perfect for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working autonomously, and making a real impact in a finance team.
