Join Technical Forest Services (TFS) Fire Crew – Western Australia TFS is seeking motivated and skilled individuals to join our WA Fire Crew operating across the South West of WA. You’ll play a vital role in protecting over 90,000 hectares of managed forest land through direct firefighting, mop-up operations, surveillance, and forest maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities: Fire suppression and prescribed burning Weed and wildling control Fence repairs, erosion works, and signage installation Firebreak clearing and survival assessments Qualifications/Training to be provided: Bushfire Safety Awareness and Firefighting Skills certification Chainsaw operation, First Aid, and MR-B class licence (preferred) Pesticide technician licence and medical fitness clearance Availability for weekday work and weekend standby Proficiency with mapping apps (e.g., Avenza) and radio communication Preferred Attributes: Crew-leader training Willingness to travel and work remotely Machine operation experience You’ll be part of a dynamic team committed to land protection and forest health.
