A leading FMCG business is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Accountant to support operation, with growing involvement in a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing site currently under construction. Working closely with the Finance Manager and operational stakeholders, you will provide financial insights, cost analysis, and decision support to help drive performance across a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Partner with operations to analyse site performance against budgets, forecasts and KPIs, identifying cost drivers and operational root causes; Support the preparation of the site master budget, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis for senior leadership; Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy, reviewing warehousing processes, and contributing to working capital management; Play a key role in ERP system development ensuring processes are implemented and adhered to at the site; and Support ad hoc modelling, scorecard reporting and analysis for key stakeholders across the business. Candidate Requirements: 5 years’ experience in a site-based accounting role; manufacturing experience highly regarded; Exposure to large ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 advantageous); and Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across departments.
