The Opportunity Our client is a well-established, multi-state property advisory company seeking a National Trust Accountant to lead trust accounting operations across their offices in NSW, QLD, and VIC. About the Role As the National Trust Accountant, you’ll be responsible for managing trust accounting functions across multiple offices, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and maintaining accurate financial records. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales Agents, Property Managers, and Office Administrators, providing expert guidance and building strong working relationships. This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives on managing high volumes of transactions and enjoys being a key part of a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of trust accounting operations across NSW, QLD, and VIC. Ensure full compliance with trust account legislation and company policies. Manage incoming/outgoing funds including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts. Prepare audit documentation and support audit processes. Monitor adherence to trust account guidelines and implement best practices. Stay up to date with changes in accounting regulations. Foster a collaborative team environment and support colleagues across departments. About You Proven experience in trust accounting within the real estate industry (Sales and Property Management). Strong understanding of relevant legislation and compliance requirements. Degree-qualified in accounting or a related field, 3 years preferred.
