About the role The ICT & Infrastructure Assistant will provide support to all staff and volunteers within a Help Desk framework using ITIL best practice standards. They will be required to close jobs as the first point of contact, prioritise other workloads, and escalate jobs to deliver effective results to the organisation delivering on internal Service Level Agreements (SLA). Collaborating with other staff and volunteers, the position assists the ICT and Infrastructure team in daily operations, liaising with external providers where needed to achieve requirements. This position provides technical support of ICT systems including security, software as well as hands on infrastructure support including motor vehicle fleet, plant, building, equipment and office moves. About you You are highly self-motivated, with exceptional problem-solving skills, and enjoy a variety of tasks. With the ability to be creative and innovative and establish credibility and gain the confidence of a wide range of people, you will deliver solutions in a customer service ICT Help Desk environment. You will also have: Experience in technical hardware, software and support of desktop equipment within a similar network environment. Excellent understanding and delivery of customer service in an IT Help Desk environment using ITIL best practice standards. Experience with the use of advanced features of Desktop applications. A fundamental understanding of network architecture, routing and security. Proven skills in ICT and Infrastructure related asset management. Relevant tertiary qualifications, in a related discipline (or currently completing). A current Driver’s License and Police Clearances will be required.
