Your work will directly contribute to growing fundraising income and accelerating the development of new treatments that improve survival rates and quality of life for people living with brain cancer. Impact you will have in this role Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, this newly created role is central to deepening donor engagement across CBCF’s diverse supporter base. With a strong focus on delivering outstanding donor experiences and meaningful recognition, you’ll contribute across all fundraising streams, from individual giving to mid-level, community, bequests, and major gifts. Your work will help strengthen donor relationships, guide supporters through the giving journey, and support gift management processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fundraiser with experience in supporter care or a similar role, who is eager to further develop their relationship fundraising skills. You’ll play a key role in nurturing donors through thoughtful, proactive, and values-led communication. Key Responsibilities Lead donor engagement, leading outbound phone and email engagement to thank, inform, and nurture our community of supporters Support stewardship of key donors, identifying, engaging, and stewarding prospective bequest and mid-major donors in collaboration with senior fundraising leaders Deliver outstanding donor experiences and coordinate touchpoints such as donor events, tours, and recognition initiatives that inspire connection and long-term commitment Champion donor services, supporting efficient donor interfacing and gift management processes to enhance retention and satisfaction Contribute to strategic donor journey and play a key role in building annual engagement calendars and recognition programs that align with CBCF’s values and objectives Skills and Experience Previous experience in a fundraising or donor care role, ideally within the NFP sector or similar Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially via phone and email, with the ability to listen, connect, and inspire action Experience engaging with individual and philanthropic supporters, including mid/major donors and/or bequestors An eye for detail and understanding of donor management systems or CRM platforms A team-oriented approach, and strong emotional intelligence A genuine commitment to joining a team that is committed to raising funds to support people living with brain cancer and their families Applications Please direct all enquiries to Kristina Lesko at Impact Advising on kristina@impactadvising.com.au Impact Advising is committed to creating diverse and inclusive work environments that reflect the rich tapestry of our communities.
