Be Recruitment has partnered with a leading community sector organisation to recruit an experienced and passionate Youth Clinician to join their therapeutic services team, supporting children and young people across the Sydney region. About the Role As a Youth Clinician, you’ll provide direct clinical support to children and young people with complex trauma backgrounds. Working collaboratively with support teams, you’ll deliver evidence-based interventions, facilitate group work, and contribute to a multidisciplinary therapeutic framework. This role is central to ensuring every child’s needs are addressed through person-centred, strengths-based support. Key Responsibilities Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualised treatment and behaviour support plans. Deliver therapeutic interventions and supervise their implementation across care settings. Facilitate reflective practice, clinical supervision, and therapeutic training for staff and carers Support transitions such as program entry, exit, and placement changes Lead care team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of therapeutic models Monitor clinical outcomes and contribute to service-wide research and best-practice initiatives What We’re Looking For Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or similar Current registration with a relevant professional body Minimum 5 years’ experience working with young people impacted by trauma Experience in child protection, out-of-home care or mental health settings Knowledge of trauma-informed practice, permanency planning and therapeutic care Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams Valid NSW Driver’s Licence, WWCC, First Aid and Police Check Willing and able to travel across Western and South West Sydney.
