Description We are looking for an experienced and tenacious individual who wants to get involved and continue to drive the great culture at Planit. To be successful in this role you will ideally have previous experience as a Coordinator or Advisor within a National or APAC P&C role. Previous experience supporting a P&C team will also be highly desirable. You are comfortable working in a fast paced and high volume environment whilst being a jack-of-all-trades! You are able to do all of the above with a smile on your face, while driving business processes and assist in making Planit the smoothest operator since Sade. The position serves as an advisor to management on People & Culture-related issues whilst acting as an employee champion and change agent. The position will work in conjunction with the business and the People & Culture function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organisation. The position may include international & global People & Culture responsibilities and will report to the Senior P&C Business Partner. This role maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its immediate, mid-range & long-term plans, its culture and its competition. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day advisory guidance on people matters to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions). Works closely with the Senior P&C Business Partner and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, build relationships, and increase productivity and retention. Ensuring employee and manager queries (via ticketing system) are handled to completion in a thorough and timely manner. Dealing with Various P&C queries throughout the business. Manage employee relations issues – including conducting effective, through and objective investigations. Partners with legal/finance and external parties as needed and required to resolve complaints/concerns. Escalate serious matters requiring attention to the Senior People & Culture Business Partner. Supports with development of contract terms for new hires, overseas hires, promotions and internal transfers. Oversee visa processing and support on complex visa queries. Be across all processing for onboarding new employees and assist when required. Provides People & Culture policy guidance and interpretation. Assists with HRIS & other system implementation and enhancements. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. . Support with People & Culture projects as required. Partnering with Senior Leadership Team to support broader P&C deliverables. Case manage WHS and RTW cases with a focus on proactive management, early intervention, and support by providing workplace advice. Qualifications Competent P&C Expertise (ideally 2-3 years in Advisory role) Business Acumen & exemplary Communication Skills (both verbal and written). Global & Cultural Awareness. Solid understanding of Employee Relations & Work Health Safety. Relationship Management, Employee Engagement and Stakeholder Management. Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant discipline. Positive attitude and 'team player' mentality.
