As a Data Architect, you will: Design and deliver modern cloud-native data platforms (Azure). Lead data stack migration projects and develop robust migration patterns. Drive data strategy, architecture, governance engagements, and align solutions with compliance requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable platforms and developers to create impactful data products. Translate business problems into actionable data-powered solutions that deliver value. Work closely with data stewards, data owners, and data governance teams to ensure alignment between models, pipelines, platform designs, governance frameworks, and collaboration tools. Implement effective strategies for data synchronization across the firm's platforms, including M365, SharePoint, iManage, Workday, and enterprise IT application/security telemetry, ensuring seamless integration to maximize the platform’s capabilities. Mentor junior team members in best practices across data management and architecture. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. About you You will have: Proven expertise in architecting cloud-based data platforms using technologies such as Azure Synapse/Fabric/Databricks. Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships across diverse business functions. Experience leading or participating in hybrid on-premises/cloud environments. Experience in implementing enterprise data management processes, procedures, and decision support. Demonstrated expertise with repository creation, and data and information system lifecycle methodologies. Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques. Experience developing pipelines and implementing data synchronization strategies within M365 environments, including SharePoint, is favorable. A strong understanding of relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices. Applied knowledge of database platforms such as SQL Server. Experience in modeling data sets, both structured and unstructured. Knowledge of frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK for structured governance processes. Familiarity with RESTful APIs. Familiarity with Terraform, Azure DevOps, and GitHub for CI/CD pipelines within hybrid cloud ecosystems. Familiarity with SDLC frameworks. Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by strategic thinking capabilities. Beneficial (but not necessary) experience might include: Knowledge of Elastic Search.
