The Client Tex At Site Pty Ltd provides a mobile calibration, high voltage testing, & repair service for the electrical, mining, & manufacturing sectors. They are based in Bassendean in Western Australia. The Role They are seeking a full time Engineering Technologist / Calibration Engineer to join their team in in Bassendean. The ideal candidate will support engineering projects by applying technical knowledge and engineering principles to design, develop, and implement solutions. You will work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively. This is for a full time position at an annual salary between $75,000 to $85,000 depending on experience plus superannuation. The Responsibilities Conducting High Voltage testing of electrical items with insulating properties to ensure the safety and integrity of systems and components Performing NATA and traceable calibration of pressure devices to guarantee accuracy and compliance Carrying out NATA and traceable calibration of electrical and electronics equipment to ensure proper functioning and standards adherence Performing NATA and traceable calibration of torque instruments to maintain precise and reliable measurements Conducting traceable calibration of temperature devices to ensure accurate readings and compliance with standards Performing traceable dimensional instrument calibration to ensure measurements meet required specifications Implementing safety protocols to safeguard both users and equipment and conducting regular evaluations of operational procedures to ensure their continued relevance and efficiency Creating detailed calibration / test procedures Conduct Portable Appliance Testing Perform Safety Equipment Inspection Assessing and analysing system performance to confirm alignment with established standards for efficiency and safety The requirements Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering Prior experience of at least 3 years as engineering technologist or calibration engineer In-depth understanding of the safety guidelines and industry standards for switchboard and related product production, ensuring full compliance during the design and manufacturing phases Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles and techniques Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
