As a Contract Administrator, you will work closely with the project team to support the delivery of fast-paced fitout projects. You will report directly to the Project Manager from conception to completion. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to further develop their commercial and contractual skills while contributing to the successful execution of high-quality interior construction works. Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain detailed project budgets, cost reports, and forecasts to ensure financial control Let and administer subcontracts and supplier purchase orders, ensuring scope alignment and timely delivery Set up and manage tenders using Procore, issuing packages to subcontractors and tracking responses Coordinate and manage RFIs, submissions, and approvals through Procore, ensuring documentation is reviewed and actioned promptly Support the Project Manager and site teams with contract administration throughout all project phases Maintain accurate project records, including correspondence, drawings, variations, and compliance documentation Assist with the preparation and assessment of progress claims, variations, and subcontractor payments Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to support smooth project communication and delivery Ensure all project activities comply with contractual obligations, timelines, and quality standards Completing safety walks and paper work with the Project Manager Assist in managing quality management throughout project and ensures defects are closed out within a timely manner Skills and Experience: 2–6 years experience in a Contract Administrator role within commercial construction or fitout projects Emphasis on pricing with ample experience within the office fit-out industry Solid understanding of head contracts, subcontractor agreements, and construction methodologies Proficiency with Procore (or similar project management software) for tendering, RFIs, and document control Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skills Sound financial acumen with experience managing budgets, variations, and progress claims Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential) Benefits for you: Opportunities for career advancement within the company Ongoing projects in the commercial construction industry Strong employee tenure Working with a strong, dynamic and collaborative team Attractive salary package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 If you are seeking a challenging although rewarding opportunity that provides growth, an attractive salary and development APPLY NOW or alternatively send an updated resume to chelsea@hudsonjones.com.au or call me directly on 0439 847 455.
