Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Tier 2 Computer Engineer to provide on-site break/fix support, working on mission-critical systems in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), and Enterprise/Mission Partner environments. This role is essential to maintaining operational readiness and supporting 24x7x365 mission requirements The Tier 2 Computer Engineer will work in a highly collaborative environment with teammates, key stakeholders, and the Government customer to ensure mission continuity and support to the IC community. Supervisory Responsibilities : None. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide Tier 2 break/fix support for IT infrastructure and mission systems. Perform incident management, including cable repair and hardware troubleshooting. Support ITIL-based Service Operations and maintain configuration control. Respond to and resolve incidents, escalating to Tier 3 when necessary. Maintain and update incident records and contribute to knowledge base articles. Support implementation of approved change requests and system modifications. Assist with Trusted Agent (TA) support and out-of-band architecture tasks. Conduct site surveys and validate operational readiness for change implementations. Manage user access in compliance with ICD 704, CIO Note 2017-03, and Directive 52-20. Track and report on End of Service Life (EOSL) for hardware and spares. Support physical inventory and updates to the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Required Skills/Abilities: Active TS/SCI clearance (U.S.) or AUS PV (Australia). U.S. Citizenship required for Site A staffing. Minimum 3 years of experience in Tier 2 IT support or break/fix roles. Strong understanding of ITIL best practices. Experience with cable management and incident resolution in secure environments. Familiarity with CMDB, asset tracking, and configuration management. Ability to work in high-pressure, mission-critical environments. Willingness to support real-world events and exercises on short notice. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting intelligence community or defense-related IT systems. Knowledge of classified network environments and secure data handling. Familiarity with Government change management processes and documentation (e.g., CMSP, NSIP). Education and Experience: Bachelor of Arts Degree and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience, or Master’s Degree with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience or An Associate Degree plus 4 years of additional work experience related to the labor category may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Work Schedule: Shift schedule may vary to support 24x7x365 operations. Flexibility required; schedule changes will be coordinated with mutual agreement.
