Your Team We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director, Design and Research to evolve our design practice and ways of working. Reporting to the Executive Direct, Digital and Customer Experience, you are a leader and change agent with a passion for empowering designers to reach their potential. This role is pivotal in shaping the future customer and adviser digital experiences for CFS, by embedding UX, UI, and research into the heart of our delivery model. You will join a dynamic, cross-functional environment where design, technology, and digital strategy intersect to create meaningful, inclusive, and innovative experiences for our customers and advisers. This is a 12 month Max Term Agreement. Your Responsibilities Co- design and drive the North star vision, digital strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals. Champion human-centred design practices across the organisation, integrating qualitative insights and customer research into delivery. Partner with senior leaders across product, engineering, and data to ensure design excellence and customer-centricity. Foster a culture of experimentation, inclusivity, and continuous learning— especially in the application of emerging technologies like AI. Build and evolve design systems, frameworks, and rituals that support consistency and innovation at scale. Your Capability and Experience Extensive experience in UX Design with proven leadership skills to inspire and motivate a high-performing team with ongoing coaching to help individuals develop. Strong knowledge and application of AI tools and practices in a design context Demonstrated experience in leading transformation programs and uplifting design practices Ability to run and facilitate ideation sessions and Discovery workshops Experience in financial services or wealth management is highly regarded What to Expect At CFS, you'll be working among the very best in the wealth management industry.
