We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team based in Perth’s CBD . This role will involve infrequent travel to other Harvest Road Group sites as required. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, you will assist them with internal management reporting for the Harvest Road Group. Your role will involve: Manage the accounting function for the Cattle Breeding and Backgrounding, Horticultural and Management Services businesses. This includes maintenance of accounting ledgers, internal financial reporting and analysis. Assist in developing and implementing financial business process improvements. Perform weekly and monthly analysis providing an understanding of financial data including weekly sales, profit and operations analysis, cattle performance reporting and station cost analysis. Prepare payment claims for external customers of Harvest Road Management Services. Assist with the preparation of group Budgets and Forecasts. Our ideal candidate will have: CA or CPA qualified. Minimum 4 years of combined experience in public practice and commercial roles. High level of verbal and written communication. Proven ability to work constructively within high-performing teams. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a desire for identifying efficiencies. Providing business analysis and visibility for operational teams. Experience in preparing detailed reports on a timely basis. Proven Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, in particular a high level of proficiency in MS Excel. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Effective time management, task prioritisation and organisational skills. An understanding and appreciation for delivering internal and external customer service. Desired: Experience in the agricultural industry would be advantageous. Comfortable with Microsoft Navision/Business Central. Power BI competency.
