About the Role We are seeking an experienced Field Maintenance Planner (Dragline) to join our Sojitz Gregory Planning team. The Field Maintenance Planner is responsible for the effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and efficient use of resources. This role plays a critical part in aligning maintenance execution with business priorities and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards. General Role responsibilities will include: Develop detailed maintenance plans and schedules for field equipment. Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and supply teams to align work plans and resource availability. Prioritise and plan work orders in line with production requirements and asset strategies. Ensure work packs include accurate scopes, permits, drawings, safety documentation, and parts lists. Create and maintain accurate job history and equipment data within the CMMS - Pronto. Review completed work orders for accuracy, close-out, and continuous improvement insights. Forecast resource requirements (labour, materials, equipment) and assist in budget planning. Support reliability initiatives by identifying repetitive failures and improvement opportunities. Liaise with OEMs, vendors, and contractors to source materials or external services as required. Marion 8050, Terex 6060’s, Komatsu PC3000, 1250, Cat MD6210 Drill, Cat 335F, Terex Franna crane. The successful candidates will have the following: Trade qualification dragline experience preferred. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a maintenance planning. Strong working knowledge of maintenance practices and asset management principles. Proficient in CMMS platforms Pronto, SAP.
