We're excited to welcome a Clinical Nurse Midwife Team Lead to our Birthing Services, Women's & Children's Services, Sunshine Coast University Hospital. The Clinical Nurse Midwife's (CNM) role is to lead and deliver women centred midwifery care at an advanced level based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Registered Nurse and Midwife Standards for Practice. The CM is expected to be able to practice autonomously and provide leadership in clinical decision making. They have the responsibility for professional leadership in the absence of the Midwife Grade 7 and an opportunity to work collaboratively to lead practice changes and clinical innovation as a portfolio lead. SCUH Birthing Services is a level 5 tertiary, 15 bed unit which includes: one assessment room, two high dependency rooms and twelve birthing rooms with birthing pools & (Birth Centre inclusive). Our dynamic and collaborative Midwifery & Obstetrics Teams provide a women centred service, catering for all risk pregnancies. We offer a debrief (RIME) Clinic postnatally for all women to reduce birth trauma. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces and manage all information in accordance with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures Remuneration value up to $31 603 p.a., comprising salary rates $54.44 - $58.30 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1)) (Permanent Part-Time position, 16 hrs p.f.).
