The opportunity The First Assistant Director-General (FADG) Enterprise Services is a key member of ASIO's executive team, responsible for providing strategic leadership and expertise to support the achievement of ASIO's goals and objectives. The successful candidate will lead ASIO's Internal Security Services, Finance and Procurement, Facilities Services and Capability Governance Program Delivery branches. In this role you will form part of the senior leadership team, where you will work closely with the Director-General and executive to deliver outcomes consistent with the Organisation's practices and values. A merit pool may be created to fill future vacancies which have the same or similar requirements to this position. This merit pool will be valid for up to 18 months. The key duties of the position include Role responsibilities As FADG Enterprise Services in ASIO, you will be responsible for: • Leading the provision of high-quality corporate operations to support the organisation's objectives. • Driving operational reform and transformational change to achieve efficiencies and improve performance. • Ensuring corporate operations resources are structured and deployed effectively. • Promoting a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. • Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and regulatory requirements. • Maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across the Organisation and government to ensure value and quality of the services delivered. • Integrated program and project management support and oversight to ensure the Organisation realises business benefit from major capability and procurement activities. • Planning and delivery of ASIO's internal security services - personal, physical and cyber - to harden the threat environment and protect the Organisation's people, assets and capabilities from threats to security, by insiders or adversaries. • Alignment of the Organisation's financial resources to Corporate Plan priorities and ensure the sustainability of capability and operational outcomes. • Whole of life planning and management to operate and maintain a range of facilities supporting the unique and varied needs of the Organisation.
