About the Role Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Manager, this is a high-impact role focused on driving growth across Victoria in key verticals including Banking, Logistics, Government, Retail, and Education. As Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, forging long-term relationships, and delivering tailored security solutions that align with each client’s unique needs. This role suits a proactive, consultative sales professional who thrives in a solution-driven environment and is comfortable engaging with C-suite stakeholders and managing complex, high-value projects. What You’ll Be Doing Uncover and convert new business opportunities across target industries Build and nurture trusted relationships with new and existing clients Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver customised solutions Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and close Contribute to tenders and bid strategies for major commercial projects Present tailored proposals and technical documentation with clarity and impact Maintain accurate pipeline data using SAP or Pronto Provide regular reporting and sales forecasts Partner with delivery teams to ensure smooth implementation and client satisfaction What You Bring You’re commercially savvy and a natural relationship builder. You understand the sales process, especially in complex or technical environments, and know how to bring value to clients through insight, collaboration, and strategic thinking. Key Requirements: Proven experience in business development or solution sales Background in Electronic Security, ICT, Enterprise AV or other related integrated technology is preferred Exceptional presentation, communication and negotiation skills Strong ability to grasp and explain technical solutions to diverse audiences Consultative and customer-focused approach Comfortable working to deadlines and managing competing priorities A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally Why Join? The Offer The successful applicant will receive a base salary commensurate with experience, between $110,000 - $130,000 plus Superannuation, Car Allowance and a lucrative incentive structure, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself with an expanding national integrator!
