The exciting opportunity exists for a hands-on, growth-focused General Manager to take ownership of a NSW-based commercial fitout and refurbishment business unit. About the Client They are a well-established national company delivering high-end fitout and refurbishment projects across hospitality, retail, health & wellness, medical, and commercial sectors. With a steady and repeat client base they are looking for a GM to join the business to assist and deliver the continued growth and strategic business plans. About The Role Reporting directly to the CEO and supported by an executive delivery leader, the General Manager - NSW will be responsible for overseeing project delivery, operational performance, team leadership, and client growth across the state. This is a highly visible and hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of fitout and refurbishment projects Manage a multidisciplinary team including Project Managers, Site Managers, Contract Administrators, Estimators, and Business Development Drive financial performance including revenue growth, margin control, and forecasting Oversee contract administration, tender reviews, and pipeline management Foster strong, lasting client and subcontractor relationships to support repeat and new business Be highly visible on both site and in the office—this is not a hands-off leadership role Champion a strong, team-oriented culture with high levels of accountability and support About You You are a commercially astute, operationally grounded leader with experience in managing construction teams and client relationships.
