We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Finance Manager to join a leading bank’s Finance team, focusing on regulatory reporting and strategic projects. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll contribute to critical financial reporting processes, support regulatory compliance, and play a key role in delivering transformative finance initiatives. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review APRA, ASIC, and other regulatory returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. Assist with the month-end and quarter-end reporting process, including reconciliations and variance analysis. Collaborate with Risk, Treasury, and Compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Support finance transformation and system enhancement projects, including process automation and reporting improvements. Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making across the business. Assist with interpreting new regulatory requirements and implementing changes into existing processes. About You CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) with strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks. Previous experience in banking, financial services, or audit with exposure to APRA reporting highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and process improvement. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems; project experience advantageous.
