With a focus on customer satisfaction, efficient systems, and continuous growth, they are now looking for an Operations Manager to lead their business operations and help drive long-term success. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is key to ensuring projects transition smoothly from sales through to construction commencement. You will oversee the day-to-day running of pre-construction operations, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and customer service across all departments. You'll bring leadership, strategy, and structure – helping to foster a proactive and collaborative environment while supporting the company’s broader goals. Your Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all operational departments, including preconstruction administration, estimating / scheduling and drafting Take ownership of production workflows to ensure seamless progression of jobs from acceptance through to site commencement Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align operational output with business targets and strategic direction Implement and refine systems and procedures to improve productivity, reduce delays, and minimise margin erosion Lead and mentor departmental managers and teams, building capability and accountability Support a strong customer journey by ensuring client issues and escalations are handled professionally and in line with brand values Maintain a strong connection between sales, construction, and finance teams to ensure transparency across all project stages Take an active role in recruitment, performance management, staff development, and team culture initiatives Monitor and assess supplier performance, strengthening relationships and ensuring procurement practices support commercial goals Drive continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on innovation, systems integration, and quality assurance About You We’re looking for a solutions-driven leader with a strong background in residential building operations. You’ll be someone who enjoys improving processes, developing people, and supporting a company’s strategic growth from the inside out. You will bring: A minimum of 5 years in a senior operational or workflow leadership role. Proven experience in residential construction, ideally including knowledge of infill site complexities and pre-site planning. Strong people management skills with experience overseeing diverse teams and functions. Sound knowledge of the residential building lifecycle, from sales through to build commencement. Ability to identify bottlenecks, implement change, and lead operational transformation. Excellent organisational, decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). A relevant degree or formal qualification in construction management, business, or a related field (preferred).
