About the role As our Environmental Coordinator, you are passionate about protecting eco-systems and implementing environmental innovation across a range of projects and sectors. As a natural relationship builder, you will influence Project Managers and external stakeholders to achieve continual environmental improvement, using your excellent communication skills and strong technical expertise to: Manage environmental aspects and impacts on site in line with best practice principles, and to assist in the achievement of organisational and project objectives. Develop and ensure compliance with Project Environmental Management Plans, company Environmental Policies and promote a positive sustainability and environmental culture, leading by example and setting best practice standards as ‘business as usual’. Ensure compliance with contractual environmental specifications and environmental legislation, environmental approvals and other relevant stakeholder requirements of the project. Key responsibilities Engaging and supporting our precontracts, project teams and workforce to champion use of our systems, client requirements and industry best practice. Advising on risk and compliance Being an on-site champion and across the implementation of our Environmental standards and procedures.
