Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is the leading voice for Australians affected by breast cancer. Working closely with the Consumer Engagement Program Manager and the broader Policy, Advocacy and Support Services (PASS) team, you will help foster a culture of inclusive, impactful consumer participation. This position is being offered on a fixed term (to 30 June 2026), part time (22.5hrs/week) basis located in Camberwell, Victoria with the opportunity to enjoy hybrid, flexible working arrangements. About the role We are seeking a passionate and highly organised Consumer Engagement Program Coordinator to support and coordinate our consumer engagement initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the voices of people affected by breast cancer are meaningfully integrated into BCNA’s work and the broader cancer sector. You will oversee BCNA’s Lived Experience (Lx) Reference Groups—including groups representing people living with metastatic breast cancer, those in rural and remote areas, and members of the LGBTIQ community—and the Review and Survey Group (R&SG), which contributes to research and resource development. Key responsibilities Coordinate and support the activities of our Lx Reference Groups and R&SG. Facilitate meaningful engagement of consumer members in internal and external projects Build and maintain strong relationships with consumer participants to foster trust and collaboration. Manage logistics and communications related to group meetings, surveys, and feedback sessions. Collaborate with the Policy, Advocacy and Support Services (PASS) team and other departments to integrate consumer insights into organisational initiatives. Support the development and implementation of best practice systems and processes for consumer engagement. The position requires a skilled communicator and relationship builder with a passion for consumer advocacy and engagement.
