The opportunity With a vision to create a better built environment for all, they now have a permanent full-time opportunity for a Business Development and Bid Manager. This role works closely with the Team Leaders and other staff to oversee the end-to-end bid process, from identifying opportunities to submitting winning proposals. The role is responsible for formulating effective strategies for the bidding process, managing resources and ensuring compliance with client requirements. Your responsibilities also include: Actively research and identify new prospective business opportunities and action new business-related enquiries Manage the production of high-quality bid documents by coordinating tender documents, presentation material and collation of technical input, including project documentation. Lead and contribute to bid submissions, and industry competitions and award entries. Confirm & coordinate internal resources to assist with the preparation of scope and fee component of bids. Coordinate and facilitate bid review meetings, ensuring key stakeholders provide input and address concerns or issues. Monitor and track bid performance and analyse win/loss data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Continuously develop and improve bid proposal content and processes. About you Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. 5 years of experience as a Bid Manager, Proposal Manager, or a similar role. Experience in managing bids for complex projects or large-scale contracts. Demonstrated success in winning bids through effective proposal management. Strong understanding of the bid lifecycle, proposal writing, development, and contract negotiation. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. Permanent part-time/school hours could be available for the right person.
