Job Description Your New Role This role will promote the customer experience and ensure processes and systems are in place to keep the contractor accountable to the organisations expectations and standards with respect to quality. In conjunction with the Built Form Quality Manager, the role ensures that our customers are genuinely engaged and satisfied with the quality and finish of their new home, whilst being mindful of our commitments in the contract of sale. Please note, this role will not be starting until early September. Core Accountabilities: Advocate on behalf of the customer and, mindful of the contract between DV and the customer, hold the builder accountable to the quality standards that form part of DV’s contractual obligations, as well as any statutory obligations. Work closely with the Development and Marketing Teams within DV to communicate progress and quality of the works, as well as provide feedback on the customer experience. Risk management via responsibility to communicate any issue to the relevant Development Director and/or Project Team that has the potential to escalate and create damage to the DV brand. In close consultation with the Superintendent, ensure that the building works follow the Quality Assurance (QA) plan that has been established Develop a thorough understanding of DV’s medium density housing projects, including quality and delivery expectations. Attend meetings as required with the Development, Sales and Marketing Teams. Track, record, and monitor the builder’s QA performance. Arrange and chair regular meetings with the builder regarding progress and quality of all MD product. Prepare and manage all correspondences relating to QA matters with the builder. Maintain accurate customer files and database. Liaise with customers, external agencies, and builders, as required. Work with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless processes. Provide progress status updates to the relevant Project Teams as deemed appropriate for the project and defined process established Track key ‘customer experience’ metrics such as number of defect items noted at Pre-Settlement Inspections Desired Skills and Experience About You Hold Property or construction related qualification. Strong knowledge of the residential construction industry, including Quality Assurance systems, A demonstrated track-record in the property sector with specific focus on developing customer services and managing customer relations, Broad property sector experience Strong written and verbal skills, including proficiency in word processing and data management software programs. Demonstrated understanding of residential construction process. Customer focused, Strong negotiation skills, Innovative, persuasive, and empathetic.
