Engineering Trades Australia are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a short-term assignment consisting of three 8:6 swings , commencing Tuesday 8th July . This is a FIFO opportunity flying from Perth to Broome , with a well-established client in the mineral sands sector. This role would suit someone who is confident working independently in a small maintenance crew and has previous experience on critical plant components such as pumps, screens, and valves. Key Details: Start Date: Tuesday 8th July Roster: 8:6 – Tuesday to Tuesday Shift: 12-hour days (includes travel time) Flights: Perth to Broome Tuesday morning; Return flight from Broome Tuesday ~7pm Rate: $75 per hour – Days only Duration: 3 swings (with possible extension) Meals and Accommodation Provided Weekly Pay – Every Friday One point of contact at ETA Preferred Experience: Warman pump maintenance Valves and pipework repairs and replacements Vibrating screen maintenance and fault finding Mineral sands experience highly regarded (but not essential) Requirements: Australian Trade Certificate – Mechanical Fitter White Card Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years) Clean National Police Clearance Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen Must have Australian working rights FIFO from Perth only If you're available for this upcoming contract and have the right experience, we’d love to hear from you.
