Prime Recruitment is currently partnering with a reputable and fast-growing solar energy provider to hire a full-time Solar Service Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with industry experience—or a motivated electrical apprentice or junior technician—ready to build a long-term career in the clean energy sector. This role focuses on after-sales technical servicing and maintenance of residential and commercial solar systems, offering a mix of hands-on work and customer support across the Perth metro area . About the Role: Full-Time – Monday to Friday Conduct after-sales servicing and maintenance of installed solar systems Diagnose and repair solar PV faults and inverter issues Perform routine performance checks and site inspections Carry out system upgrades, firmware updates, and minor electrical repairs Liaise with internal teams and customers for job scheduling and updates Work independently while upholding quality and safety standards Key Requirements for Success: Previous experience as a Solar Technician, Electrician, or in technical maintenance (preferred) Open to junior electricians or electrical apprentices keen to learn solar Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid Driver’s License (essential) White Card (Construction Induction) Working at Heights ticket (or willingness to obtain) Current Police Clearance or ability to obtain one CEC Accreditation is a bonus but not required Benefits: Full-time, permanent role with job security and growth Supportive team with on-the-job training and upskilling opportunities Be part of a purpose-driven industry helping customers switch to clean energy Company vehicle, phone, and tools may be provided (depending on experience) Work across a variety of sites with new challenges each day How to Apply: Looking to join a forward-thinking company in a future-proof industry?
