About Our Client Prime Recruitment is currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter for one of our key clients located in Malaga. This is an immediate start opportunity with ongoing work and the potential for a permanent role. Join a well-established team in the mining sector. About the Role: Strip down hydraulic cylinders for inspection. Identify wear, corrosion, pitting, cracks, or other damage to rods, barrels, seals, and pistons. Measure tolerances using micrometers, verniers, dial indicators, etc Assemble hydraulic cylinders to precise specifications. Apply correct torque to fasteners and fittings. Ensure components are clean and properly lubricated Assist with maintenance fitting on drill rod components Key Requirements for Success Australian recognised trade certificate Proficient in reading mechanical drawings and specifications. Skilled with tools, machinery, and measuring instruments.
