An ASX, Sydney headquartered business is seeking a Head of Safety Excellence, Business Partnering to step into this strategic, high-impact role driving health, safety and culture transformation across a diverse business. Reporting to a highly regarded General Manager of Safety Excellence, you’ll operate as a trusted advisor to executive leaders, and to key project stakeholders across a variety of developments in complexity and scale. You will work with a talented group of HSE professionals, and form part of a safety leadership team who are highly dedicate & passionate. This role will involve occasional national travel and offers flexible working options. In addition to a competitive package of circa $200,000-$220,000, a bonus component will be offered if eligible. What Your Role Will Look Like Lead enterprise level risk strategy & champion innovation in systems and data; Drive change beyond compliance through measurable outcomes that impact people, performance, and reputation; Develop and implement Zero Harm strategy aligned with business growth; Provide expert advice on critical risk, safety systems and compliance; Lead cultural transformation and embed safety into executive thinking; Harness analytics and emerging technologies to improve performance; and Represent the business with regulators, clients, and industry forums. What You Bring Senior safety leadership experience in complex, high-risk industries; Experience in safety consulting will come highly regarded; Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder influence at executive level; Deep WHS knowledge, supported by relevant qualifications and certifications; and A track record of cultural change, innovation, and measurable safety outcomes.
