What you'll do: In this broad and hands-on role, you'll play a key part in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and process optimisation as the business grows. You'll lead the preparation of financial and statutory reports aligned with AASB and ASX standards, manage the month-end process, and partner with stakeholders on revenue, cost, and capital project reporting. You'll also support internal and external audits, assist with grant and debt provider queries, and contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting systems and procedures. There is a strong focus on technical accounting, process optimisation, and building financial governance frameworks to support scale. Key responsibilities include: Preparing statutory and ASX financial reports (Quarterly, HY, Annual) Managing general ledger integrity, month-end, and reconciliations Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and revenue/cost analysis Overseeing capital project reporting and audit preparation Investigating audit findings and contributing to compliance improvements Supporting internal initiatives for continuous improvement and automation Providing ad hoc financial analysis and stakeholder reporting Who You Are: You are a technically capable, self-motivated accountant who thrives in a collaborative and evolving environment. You bring a detail-oriented mindset, enjoy working in a hands-on role, and take ownership of your work while supporting a positive team culture.
