Volunteer- Lecturer & Discussion Facilitator (English or Russian) Reporting to the Practice and Support Coordinator/ Lifestyle Coordinator This role will be based at our Residential Aged Care facility As a Volunteer Lecturer and Discussion Facilitator, you will have the incredible opportunity to inspire and educate our elderly residents by leading lectures, talks, and discussions on a wide range of subjects. Whether it's history, current affairs, or other topics of interest, your expertise and conversational skills can bring joy and intellectual stimulation to our residents' lives. You will be preparing and delivering informative and engaging lectures on various topics, facilitating discussions, allowing residents to share their thoughts and insights. To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria: A warm, friendly and compassionate personality. A responsible approach to following safety guidelines. Promote positive and respectful relationships with residents through friendly and supportive interactions. Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for a variety of topics. Proficiency in English and/or Russian languages. Effective communication and presentation skills. A passion for engaging with elderly residents and fostering meaningful discussions. Be reliable, compassionate, and enjoy spending time with our clients Commitment to regular volunteering Availability- 30 minutes once a week or fortnightly.
