Job Description We are very excited to offer a highly sought-after Senior Dietitian - Food Services position to join our incredible team at Epworth! In this part time (.8 EFT) role you will be responsible for providing dietetics and nutrition expertise to the food services teams across all our Epworth sites, to ensure the provision of food of the highest nutritional standards to our patients. You may also be required to provide clinical care to support caseload management. You will be part of, and work collaboratively with, our clinical dietitians, strengthening relationships with food services, streamlining and standardising hospital policies and procedures and promoting evidence-based nutrition management. The position reports to the Manager, Speech Pathology & Dietetics, Continuing Care and Support services (CCSS). You will make an impact by: Providing the Food Services teams with nutritional advice, analysis, support and education. Collaborating with the head chefs and site-based food dervices teams to ensure that menu options and special dietary requirements for all our patients adhere to and comply with nutritional content, the IDDSI Framework and food allergy/allergen safety criteria Monitoring and ensuring compliance against food nutrition standards, policies and procedures Participating in the ongoing professional development of self, colleagues, and the wider Epworth HealthCare community Providing supervision, education, and support to Grade 1 & Grade 2, AHA’s and students Participating actively and positively in the area of health and safety to reduce all hazards and incidents within the workplace To be successful in this role you will bring: At least seven years’ experience working as a dietitian Strong communication skills A supportive and engaging manner that enables you to easily build rapport with our teams, internal and external stakeholders, patients as well as their families Proven experience in and commitment to service improvement and the ability to engage and influence others to achieve improved service delivery Experience working with Meal Management Systems and iPM Previous clinical experience as a Dietitian in a hospital or community setting Knowledge and understanding of National Standards and ACHS Accreditation Standards Position Description Inherent Requirements All candidates must include a cover letter as well as their most current resume.
