This role will lead the development and execution of human capital strategies that drive organisational growth, enhance employee development, and foster a positive culture, aligning all HR and talent initiatives with strategic goals. What you’ll do On a day to day basis you will: Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain the people and culture strategy aligned with the organisation's purpose, mission, vision, and values. Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and initiatives. Oversee the full cycle of talent acquisition, including workforce planning, recruitment, and selection processes. Design and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and foster a positive work culture. Implement strategies to enhance employee retention and promote a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. Develop and administer a compensation program that attracts and retains top talent. Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues and provide guidance on people policies, procedures, and legal compliance. Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances. Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations and feedback mechanisms. Collaborate with leaders to identify training and development needs across the organisation. Design and implement learning programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on HR trends and best practices. Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks. Ensure proper record-keeping and data management practices. Act as a People Success Partner for assigned client groups. Support People Success partners on initiatives as required. Experience you’ll bring The ideal candidate will have: At least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environments and a proven record of creating and maintaining a high-performing culture. Proven experience in a senior people and culture leadership role, preferably as a Head of People and Culture or equivalent. Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
