We’re looking for an experienced Events Specialist to own the strategy, delivery, and optimisation of our event program — from disability expos and trade shows to accommodation open days and community engagement activities. About the Role You will lead the planning and execution of high-profile events that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and stakeholder engagement nationwide. Working closely with the Brand & Content Manager, marketing teams, site managers, and operations, you’ll ensure every event aligns with our brand and growth objectives while delivering exceptional participant experiences. Your coordination and leadership will bring together teams across marketing and operations to support events seamlessly, while you provide expert on-site management when required. Success means flawless execution, measurable ROI, and strong relationships with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement event strategies across all portfolios aligned to brand and growth goals Plan, coordinate and deliver diverse events including expos, trade shows, open days, and community activities Manage all event logistics: venue selection, vendor negotiation, registration systems, and on-site management Collaborate with marketing, operations, and site teams to ensure comprehensive event support and successful lead capture Provide coaching and clear briefings to marketing and operations staff attending events Track and analyse event metrics — attendance, engagement, lead generation, and conversion outcomes Manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and maximised return on investment Travel often across Australia for event delivery and oversight What you can bring to the team 3–5 years’ event management experience, ideally within disability, healthcare, or community sectors Proven track record delivering diverse events such as expos, trade shows, and community engagement Strong project management and organisational skills with attention to detail Experience managing budgets and negotiating with vendors Excellent stakeholder engagement and coaching skills Comfortable working with event technology platforms and registration systems Ability to travel frequently across Australia for events Qualifications in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred Knowledge of NDIS and disability sector a strong advantage Why you’ll love working with us Be part of a mission-driven organisation making a genuine difference Enjoy a supportive, collaborative and flexible team environment Gain exposure across all facets of marketing – from strategy to execution Access salary packaging options to boost your take-home pay Play a key role in delivering campaigns that positively impact people’s lives You will be required to undertake a "Fit2Work" National Criminal History Check and hold or be willing to obtain a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
