About the role: This role has dual reporting to both the Managing Director, and Head of Marketing, and will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the organisation’s reputation, protect their interests, and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. Your duties will include, but not be limited to: Develop and implement comprehensive PR and corporate communications strategies; Secure widespread editorial coverage across diverse media, including automotive and lifestyle; Manage public responses to critical business issues and coordinate internal stakeholders; Cultivate and maintain strong media relationships across all communication channels; Oversee external communications through media, website, and social media, including press fleet and product launches; Ensure consistent internal and external messaging and manage crisis communications; Identify and develop compelling internal news stories and content; and Manage the PR budget, financial reporting, and provide departmental communications support. About you: You will be an experienced PR and communications leader who has demonstrated ability in creating and executing strategies that drive measurable outcomes. In addition to this, you will have: Degree qualifications in Communications, Journalism or Marketing; 10 years PR and Communications experience; Extensive experience developing, maintaining and delivering on PR strategies to meet company objectives; Experience leading a small team; Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills; High levels of creativity; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Possession of Open Manual Drivers Licence; and General automotive industry experience/knowledge (highly regarded).
