About the role We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint . The Contract Administrator is responsible for supporting the development, negotiation and promotion of all contract, and contract management functions including supplier performance management, preparing contracts that ensure technical requirements and specifications are determined, and maintaining relevant systems to ensure all contractual requirements are recorded. The role is required to liaise and communicate professionally with a range of internal and external stakeholders providing professional services and contract administrative functions in order to meet and support the achievement of business objectives. About You You are a highly experienced contract administration professional. Your career has been marked by effective supervision and monitoring of contract compliance and delivery, working seamlessly with both internal teams and external contractors. You bring proven expertise in auditing, reporting, and assessment, along with a solid track record in dispute resolution and contract negotiation. You are process-driven and skilled in developing, monitoring, and refining contract management policies and procedures. With excellent time management, planning, and organisational abilities, you consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Required Qualifications Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
