An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Procurement Officer to join our client’s team for a short term contract supporting a broad range of goods, services, ICT, and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in procurement who can work independently and adapt quickly. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage medium and low-risk contracts Support the development of significant or higher-risk contracts Conduct contract negotiations and prepare procurement documentation Provide advice on procurement, contract renewals, and extensions Facilitate tender evaluations, due diligence, and probity processes Skills, Attributes and Experience: 2–3 years minimum procurement experience, ideally within the government or public sector Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to work largely autonomously with minimal supervision Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong proficiency with ERP software Quick to learn and navigate systems and processes Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
