We are currently seeking a motivated and safety-focused 'Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist' to join a global manufacturer of progressing cavity pumps and pump parts in Welshpool, WA. With a wide product range catering to industries such as wastewater, chemical, food & beverage, mining, marine, and oil & gas, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a world-class organisation. This role will primarily support the Downhole Tools Service Centre and ReedHycalog Field Operations , while also providing HSE support to various other locations and business units across Australia. Key Responsibilities Implement and manage HSE programs, policies, procedures, and processes at the Welshpool facility and other sites as required. Conduct and review risk assessments and job safety analyses to ensure safe work practices. Maintain a register of legal and regulatory compliance obligations, including permits. Advise management on local HSE regulations and industry best practices. Support the development of Business Continuity Plans and HSE training programs. Develop HSE Bridging Documents and journey management procedures for field operations. Foster a proactive safety culture through observations, interventions, and corrective actions. Conduct HSE audits and participate in regular workplace inspections. Promote sustainability through effective waste management and recycling initiatives. Gather and report Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) data. Maintain and test Emergency Response Plans and coordinate emergency drills. Document and implement Level III HSE procedures for both facility and field environments. Support tender submissions and client compliance platforms such as ISNetWorld. Prepare monthly HSE reports and track KPIs and safety objectives. Facilitate HSE meetings, Toolbox Talks, and Management Reviews. Provide on-site and remote HSE support across Australian operations. About You Qualifications: Minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent). Preferred: Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards. Experience: Prior HSE or Oil & Gas industry experience is highly desirable. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong communication and presentation skills.
