How you will contribute We are currently seeking an experienced Graduate Accountant to join our HR Products division in Canning Vale on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support our finance team with a wide range of responsibilities spanning financial reporting, system improvements, inventory analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to; - Responsible for cash allocation and maintaining customer accounts. - Strong involvement in Accounts Receivable functions, accurately recording customer payments, and creating customer credit notes. - Support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and weekly reporting by coordinating with finance and shared services teams. - Ensure accuracy of the General Ledger, particularly inventory and manufacturing variance accounts, and complete timely reconciliations (e.g. WIP, PPV, freight, revaluations). - Conduct inventory and cost analysis, monitoring obsolescence risk, inventory turns, and logistics or labour costs to identify savings - Assist in audit preparation, ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies, and support insurance renewals. - Collaborate with IT and finance teams to drive process improvements, including automation of cash allocation (Blackline) and ERP (QAD) enhancements. - Create and deliver financial reports and dashboards, translating key insights for non-financial stakeholders and supporting operational decision-making.
