In this key role, you'll play a strategic part in bridging finance and business operations — delivering financial insights and analysis that support effective, data-driven decision-making. As a trusted advisor, you'll ensure financial alignment with business objectives while identifying opportunities for growth, improving efficiency, and mitigating risk. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, sound business acumen, and the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls. Partner with business unit heads to develop financial plans, forecasts, and budgets. Support key stakeholders with ad hoc financial analysis for strategic decision-making. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize business performance. Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance, including the development of key financial metrics. Conduct financial modeling, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments. Engaging with budget owners to compare actual monthly performance against budget and identifying key drivers of performance. Assist with the monthly preparation of the MBR report. Assist in due diligence activities for potential investments or sales. Participation in ad hoc projects including systems implementations and business improvement initiatives. Reviewing existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts. Leverage BI tools (Alteryx, Power BI, SQL) to automate and enhance reporting.
