Job Description Key Accountabilities: Processing all functions related to Accounts Payable – Supplier Invoices, Staff/Volunteer/Puppy Raiser ClaimsManage the Accounts Payable inbox daily and process all invoices/claims in Receipt Bank/XeroEnsure invoices, Purchase Orders and employee expense claims are appropriately authorized as per delegations of authority policyProcessing all functions related to Accounts Receivable e.g Donations, Bequests, NDIS income, Dog Sales, Cane Sales/Stock TransfersBank reconciliations on a daily basis for the bank accounts allocated to the staff memberProcess general ledger journals for accruals and prepaymentBalance Sheet reconciliations & BAS returns.Complete other reasonable tasks from time to time as directed by Financial Controller or CFO. Essential Experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Accounts role.Good understanding of data analysis and reconciliation procedureExperience in mainstream accounting packages - Xero highly regarded.Strong communication (written and verbal) skills, initiative and integrity.Professional membership with CPA/CA is highly desirable.
