About Us Kinrise Biscuits is an iconic biscuit manufacturing company, making biscuits for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on being able to consistently deliver quality product to our customers and being focused on delivering results. What is the role? In this role you will efficiently operate equipment in various areas to manufacture biscuits, cookies and crackers, manage day to day tasks and ensure smooth running of production while adhering to safety and quality standards. Multiple positions available on: Day Shift 7:30am to 4:00pm Afternoon Shift 4:00pm to 12:00am Night Shift 12:00am to 7:30am Key Responsibilities Packing Operators set up various automated machines such as horizontal flow wrappers, vertical bagging machines and case packers by physically removing parts from the equipment based on the product that is being run and select the respective program. Filling Operators run industrial computer programs for the slurry operation and select the correct recipe according to the production plan. Both ensure the line is ready for start-up then complete and sign off the pre-start check sheet. Ensure the line is set up with appropriate level of ingredients and packaging including rewind cases for the run. Replenish rewind or cartons as needed during the run. Conduct regular quality checks as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) throughout the run. Record any downtime (planned/unplanned) against the respective category you're working in. Troubleshoot issues as necessary. Remove waste from the line as needed. Ensure the line is regularly cleaned and maintained as per Good Manufacturing Practice housekeeping standards. Conduct changeover and clean requirements as needed. Skills/Competencies Required Machine operator experience in the FMCG industry with prior experience in food manufacturing highly regarded. Safety-first mindset. Excellent communication, literacy and numerical skills. Effective problem solving. High attention to detail and ability to accurately complete documents for internal compliance. Ability to troubleshoot minor issues. Continuous learning mindset and ability to work as part of a team. Basic computer knowledge and data entry skills. Ability to support and train others team members as you continue to learn and grow.
