The Opportunity: We are experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a Head of Business Development, APAC to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a fast-paced startup that has already gained significant traction in the global market. You’ll have ultimate responsibility for amplifying our impact and driving our ambitious growth objectives across the APAC region. The role will report directly into the Disruptive Industries VP of Growth - Global, based in the UK. The role will provide line management, direction and support to other members of the APAC Business Development function as the team grows. What You’ll Do: Achieve individual sales targets, for APAC by driving high-impact deals and owning key accounts, setting a performance standard and actively contributing to regional revenue goals. Collaborate closely with the UK-based VP of Growth - Global, to refine the growth strategy for APAC and ensure the most effective and efficient methods of revenue generation and market presence. Execute against the commercial strategy for APAC with the purpose of achieving corporate objectives, including: Managing the budget approved by the CFO, ensuring effective allocation across lead acquisition, marketing, and revenue operations. Establishing OKRs to align the APAC sales team with strategic goals and performance expectations. Leveraging data-driven insights to optimise strategies, including lead acquisition channels, and helping to shape sector diversification and pricing, by ensuring adherence to CRM data quality and integrity. Providing strong team management and leadership, fostering a high-performance culture within the future APAC sales team. Creating and executing a hiring plan to build a team across lead qualification, sales, and customer success. Consideration and proposal of strategies for future diversification within APAC. Consideration and proposals to evolve the pricing strategy based on market demands. Contributing to and continuously evolving foundational sales materials, including the sales playbook, sales processes, and sales collateral for APAC. Overseeing APAC marketing campaigns in conjunction with central marketing resources. Ensuring customer retention and expansion efforts are aligned with sales goals for sustainable growth. What You’ll Bring: 5-10 years’ end to end software sales experience 5 years’ sales leadership experience Experience selling to CSOs and CISOs, with a wide network in physical and digital security Experience engaging with and selling to Defense and National Security clients Extensive experience with contracting frameworks and commercial procurement pathways Extensive experience selling a complex, highly technical product is strongly preferred Experience building a book of business and generating revenue streams from existing network Strategic mindset, motivated by long-term growth and building sustainable processes to support regional objectives Committed to fostering a high-performance culture by developing and supporting team members, leading by example Join Us: If you have a strong background in software sales leadership, a strong network in security, and are ready to drive meaningful growth in a fast-paced environment, we would be delighted for you to apply.
