Role Overview As an Accountant, you will support the team by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, assisting with month-end and year-end close, and helping prepare compliance documents. This role is key to ensuring timely, accurate financial operations and contributing to high-quality client service. Key Responsibilities Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Carry out monthly bank, credit card, and ledger reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries and accruals Prepare financial reports, statements, and basic management reports Support budget preparation and variance analysis Maintain accurate invoicing, documentation, and filing systems Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders (clients, vendors) to resolve financial queries Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA progress desirable) 1 year of experience in accounting/finance, preferably with month-end tasks Proficient in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar cloud-based accounting systems Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and functions like VLOOKUP Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability, and accuracy Effective communicator; team-orientated and professional What We Offer Competitive salary of AU$72k–$80k p.a.
