About the role: Join RSM as a Resource Scheduler within our Assurance and Advisory division. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimising the allocation of personnel to client engagements, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Your ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands will be key to success in this role. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment where your contributions are valued. What you’ll do: Utilise scheduling software to efficiently manage and update resource assignments. Develop, adjust and maintain schedules for personnel and other resources based on project requirements, availability, and capacity. Coordinate with Partners and department heads to forecast resource needs. Communicate scheduling updates and changes to relevant stakeholders. Forecast resource demand for current and upcoming projects to identify potential gaps. Collaborate with project managers to align resource needs with client timelines and budgets. Coordinate training programs to address skill gaps and support professional development. Use resource management tools to track allocation, availability, and utilisation metrics. Generate reports on workforce performance, project progress, and resource optimisation. About you: What you’ll bring: We are seeking an organised, analytical problem-solver with a keen eye for detail. Your communication skills and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments will ensure your success in this role. To be successful in this role, you’ll have: Experience in a professional services environment is essential Proven experience in scheduling, resource coordination, or a similar administrative role. Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Retain Cloud) and the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills. Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (desirable).
