Job Title: Remote Contract Clinical Coder (Subacute - VIC-based) Location: Remote (VIC coding knowlege required) Contract Type: Contract | Minimum 15.00 hours per week Hourly Rate: Competitive, based on experience About the Role: We are seeking Victoria-based Clinical Coders with specialist expertise in Subacute coding - including General, Rehabilitation, and Mental Health (Psychiatric) casemix, to work remotely on a contract basis for a leading Victorian hospital . This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major healthcare provider's complex casemix, ensuring timely and accurate coding for a range of subacute services. With flexible working hours (minimum 15 hours per week) and competitive pay , this position offers the chance to work with modern systems like Cerner and IPM, while playing a key role in coding for a prestigious health service. Key Requirements: Minimum of 15 hours availability per week (flexible scheduling available). Extensive coding experience in Subacute: General, Rehabilitation, and Mental Health settings. Ability to meet a 15 records per day KPI , with a focus on accuracy. Advanced knowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and Australian Coding Standards (ACS) . Proficiency in using Cerner and IPM systems. Ability to work autonomously, manage workload effectively, and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to coding queries.
