Company : Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Parts Operations Advisor (PNG customer base) to join our high performing Parts support team (PNG). This is a permanent fulltime position located in Archerfield. We are searching for a technical parts specialist to provide high-level administrative support across parts operations, with a focus on customer communication, service order expediting and technical information requests. In this role, you will support key customers by ensuring timely, accurate responses with a focus on the enterprise goal of first point resolution. Reporting to the Parts Excellence Manager (PNG) , you will: Vendor & Fabrication Coordination – Liaise with Caterpillar and engineering teams to source vendors and technical drawings for made-to-order items no longer supported by Caterpillar. Project & Logistics Support – Coordinate site deliveries across multiple vendors for large-scale rebuild projects and manage component supply in ready-to-install packages. Customer-Focused Technical Support – Facilitate customer requests by sourcing and assembling complex parts packages, ensuring all technical information provided is accurate, confidential, and compliant. System & Data Management – Maintain high data quality across Microsoft Dynamics AX, CRM platforms, and manage backorders, PO acknowledgements, and pick exceptions. Stakeholder Engagement – Manage key customer accounts, provide regular reporting, and deliver exceptional internal and external customer service through proactive communication. Policy & Compliance Adherence – Ensure strict compliance with policies including GST, credit card standards, warranty claims, and freight recovery guidelines. Continuous Improvement & Team Contribution – Actively engage in team development, process improvement, and knowledge sharing, while supporting new team member onboarding. Personal Accountability & Collaboration – Take ownership of performance, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to a high-performing, values-led team environment.
