The Opportunity: As the Risk & Resilience SME, working a in 12 month max term contract role, you’ll be part of our Risk, Resilience and Regulatory (R3) Program, helping to keep Australia’s payments systems running smoothly and securely. You’ll work closely with a committed team to shape and roll out important risk and compliance strategies, frameworks, and processes across different areas of risk. The role plays a critical part in enhancing trust in AP and supporting its ambition to lead secure, inclusive, and innovative payments experiences for all in Australia. The core responsibilities of the role will include: Drive resilience uplift initiatives across AP. This will include working with business owners to uplift opportunities and plan remediation activities. Be hands-on in leading the remediation of key resilience uplift across AP. This will include documenting controls and implementing identified improvements. Drive the development and enhancement of risk policy, processes and procedures. Perform risk and control assessments across various business lines, products and suppliers. Work with stakeholders across the organisation to drive risk uplift. Support Program Stream Leads to monitor progress and identify risks and issues relating to delivery. Provide project management support to internal working groups and governance committees. The capabilities we’re seeking are: Robust experience in resilience management, business continuity, or risk management within a Payments, Fintech or Financial Services organisation. Proven expertise in developing and implementing resilience strategies, business continuity plans, and incident response protocols. Strong knowledge of best practice resilience processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and rapport with stakeholders. Strong organisation skills and proven ability to prioritise and manage deliverables. An ability to apply critical thinking, solve problems and provide pragmatic solutions.
