The role You will be working with the Head of Capital Markets / Fixed Income within the broader Investments, Products & Services (IP&S) team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver Capital Markets deals within listed, OTC and private markets and Fixed Income portfolio recommendations and execution to our Investment Advisers / clients. The candidate ideally has experience in fixed income markets with an interest in capital markets syndication. Your responsibilities Fixed income Help our Investment Advisers manage direct fixed income investments by constructing bond portfolios tailored to the risk tolerance and income needs of the client. Provide ongoing support to Investment Advisers and clients via regular portfolio reviews and providing investment ideas Communicate fixed income strategy and macro market commentary to advisers and clients as appropriate via presentations and publications. Contribute to the LGT Crestone Investment Committee by formulating our house view on global fixed income markets Buying and selling global OTC fixed income securities on behalf of clients and ensuring best execution for client trades. Providing indicative pricing and recommendations on available inventory for Investment Advisers Capital markets Manage the end-to-end processes for Equity Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets offers on tight timeframes from origination, distribution to settlement. This includes preparing sales material for the Investment Advisers, responding to queries throughout the offer, and overseeing the bidding and allocation processes Help to source and originate deal flow via relationships with external counterparties and investment banks Execute co-investment opportunities for clients and assisting with structuring and monitoring Private Markets transactions Communicate with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure offers are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal Risk, Legal and Compliance requirements. Qualifications Degree qualified in Finance, Commerce or Business RG146 accreditation, or willingness to complete Skills and Experience 5 – 9 years experience in financial markets. Experience in fixed income markets or capital markets origination / syndication will be highly regarded Knowledge of the domestic and international OTC fixed income market is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of capital markets processes Customer service orientation with strong attention to detail and ability to manage time critical processes Ability to synthesize information quickly and communicate effectively to a broad set of stakeholders, both internal and external Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and experience with Bloomberg is helpful What’s in it For You?
